Researching bullying charities.

One website which i have found is NSPCC They help children who are or have suffered all sorts of bullying from school bullying to cyber bullying to children being abused at home. they give advice  raise money Provide help lines  There reach is large as they have a reach across the whole of the UK. The main target audience is children and those in positions to help them. The main message concerning bullying for this site is that all children matter and that no child should suffer the consequences of bullying. there motto is ‘every child is worth fighting for’. They work with families and schools as well as bigger organisations to spread awareness. They put on events like marathons to help raise money. Another charity is National bullying helpline They help adults who are getting bullied in the work place. The product follows the conventions by having a boy typically start by being bullied by another boy. He stereotypically gets pushed against a locker and his overall exposed and summited to abuse. It also follows the conventions by having the boys friends abandon him and then eventually come back to help him. However it doesn’t follow the conventions of short bullying clips by having the transitions of scenes have facts and statistics which outline the impact behind bullying. The target audience is teenagers as the clip is based in a secondary school and follows a teenage boys experience. Furthermore it is for teenagers as it shows stats and facts surrounding the effects of bullying on young people. The product communicates using colour by having the colour near the start bright then the bullying starts and the colour become a lot darker after 3 months of bullying to represent the feelings and emotions of the boy.
